Abstract
The year 2014 marked the 50th anniversaries of the Wilderness Act and the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act. AMC and partners develop an outdoor recreation management certificate program with White Mountains Community College. Federal government issues new accessibility guidelines for outdoor areas. A task force works to control parties at Bulls Bridge in Connecticut. AMC receives a large grant to improve trails in the Moosehead Lake region. Memories of summer 2014 near Mount Moriah by that season’s Imp Shelter and Tentsite caretaker.
