Abstract
David Sanderson recollects trying to save Alfred Whipple Jr. and Sidney Crouch on Cannon Mountain in 1959. Al Sanborn tells a story of surviving hypothermia. Bev Esson criticizes a story about a man who took his 60-year-old mother backpacking.
