Abstract
Some of the biggest considerations researched by the Strategic Advisory arm of Trinity Partners revolve around whether a pharmaceutical company should launch a drug in a specific therapeutic area, and how rigorous their marketing should be. To that end, it is vital to understand what the size of the addressable market is, and what share of that market can be captured. Aligning with this need, the Market Share Tool is an excel based calculator that allows the user to find the potential market share percentage of a “new-to-market” drug based on a two-factor input.
