The internship completed for the fulfillment of the ENGM 390 requirement was for the operations and analytics department at Gartner, Inc. The project aims to improve the sales and customer retention of Gartner’s high-tech product, Gartner for General Managers (GGM). In order to monitor the performance of the product, sales deals, and the utilization of Gartner’s resources, dashboards on Microsoft Power BI were established helping drive actionable business insights in lesser time. To generate better sales prospects, an algorithm to mine product reviews and ratings was also developed. Key drivers of retention were identified to better mitigate risk.
