"Thirty-seven out of my 51 publications in peer-reviewed journals (73%) are either Open Access or their full text became available after some time (6- 12 months since publication, or in some cases later). Everything I published since 2015 is freely available to readers. Now, when I consider a publication venue I aim at journals that at least make the text free after 6-12 months from publication date, and that if they don't - that they have an open access option. Since open access publication is not free, I am grateful that Dartmouth provides support to cover these fees for projects that are not externally funded and hence do not have budgeted publication costs."
