Description
Give a short presentation about anything you want. Make people laugh, teach them something new, or just rant for five minutes straight about your least favorite type of cheese. The only catch is that, at Dartmouth Library’s PowerPoint party, every piece of media in your presentation must be open access (public domain or Creative Commons licensed). Not sure what that means? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you! Don’t want to present? That’s fine too - come watch your friends give their presentations and vote on your favorite! Either way, we’ll also be providing free pizza.
5:30-6:30: Presenters will have an hour to make their presentations, and library staff will be available to help find and cite open access resources.
6:30-7: Dinner will be provided for presenters and attendees.
7-8: Presenters will give their presentations. Other attendees will watch, cheer them on, and vote for their favorites.
