Abstract
The internship project with the supply chain department of Tesla Inc. involved building a new platform for monitoring supplier quality for all global programs under Tesla. This is needed for ensuring the timely qualification of the highest quality parts. The platform monitors the Tesla Qualification Process (TQP) and helps establish confidence in component suppliers and their processes. It is a first-of-its-kind dashboard to include all the global vehicle programs in one place, with 7000+ plus parts and 13 programs. This project sped up the qualification process by 65% by showing upcoming milestones and parts statuses and halved the time spent on parts search.
