Abstract
Esri builds geospatial information systems software that enables companies to think spatially and about their business and consumer needs. The ArcGIS Enterprise product-management team collects an overwhelming amount of feedback, including that from crowdsourced community forums. This project focused on building an internal automation tool, in NodeJS and Python, to unify workflows and bring relevant feedback from this community into product-management’s central planning platform, Productboard. With this application that runs in the background to recurringly consolidate user feedback, the Enterprise product-management team has seen the pool of enhancement ideas narrowed down by 70% and time-in-process saved by up to 21%.
