Abstract
Through TREAT’s mission, the Pilot Grant Commercialization Assistance Program provides funding and services to researchers and innovators to accelerate rehabilitation and assistive technologies from ideation to market. The objective of my project was to evaluate the review process and to improve the quality and value provided to TREAT, reviewers, and applicants. My methodology included collecting stakeholder input, performing data analysis, and laying out the main areas in need of improvement. From the qualitative and cost analyses, my piloted process change strived towards improving organizational decision making for TREAT.
