Abstract
ServiceNow is software company that develops a cloud computing platform. An internal instance of ServiceNow, called BuiltTools1 (BT1) is used for all product development to manage epics, stories, defects, and needs. Currently, there is no formal defined process on how to raise technical requests to BT1 for tooling improvement. I designed the process for engineering teams to better represent their needs to the Platform Engineering organization. Through a five phased project approach, I created a formal process through continual iteration and stakeholder interaction to deliver a process for adoption. It will be used to assist in the collection, validation, and socialization of requests for implementation into BT1.
