Abstract
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, the Cell Culture business team has to regularly assess the performance of their products—often taking hours to prepare the data before it can be analyzed. In addition, the level of visualization and interactivity are limited with the current methods. Using Tableau, a visual data analytics software, these problems were addressed through the creation of dashboards which perform the necessary tasks and fulfill other business intelligence needs that were previously impossible. As a result, data preparation time was significantly reduced by an average of 85 percent with the level of visualization and interactivity substantially increasing.
