Abstract
Gartner is a research and analytics firm, of which one of their products (EITL) provides value for their customers through research, personalized advice, and peer symposiums. Potential clients are introduced to this product through a process called “Proof of Concept” or the POC process. This process can be optimized for best practices and to decrease overall throughput time, which would lead to an increased rate of successful client acquisition. This process was examined, bottlenecks identified, and potential sources of increased revenue found. Recommendations were developed and a dashboard created to constantly monitor the process and identify when problems arise.
