Abstract
Ipsen is a global biopharmaceutical leader dedicated to improving lives through innovative medicines in oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases. The project for the summer was integrating third-party and internal pharmaceutical market datasets originating from disparate sources to generate integrated insights on patient market basket. The outcome of the project was to create a 360° view of the patients in the therapeutic areas Ipsen serves. Further, significant impact would be created by generating more informed trade-off decisions in contract negotiations, marketing budget allocations, and benchmarking market share across demography and distribution channels.
