Abstract
In almost every process, there is an ideal path that the process owner usually has in mind, and then there is the real process with a lot of deviations. This complexity associated with processes is what has affected the turnaround time of the Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) sales process at Dell Technologies. The process mining solution Celonis provides a detailed picture of the CPQ process collecting real time data. Hence, the project objective is to analyze this data repository to gather insights, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions. The core areas of improvement are the turnaround time (TAT), accuracy and competitiveness.
