"I am currently developing a Massive Open Online Course (or MOOC) entitled ‘ The Engineering of Structures Around Us,’ which is free and open to the anyone around the world but is targeted at high school students. One of my main reasons for developing the course is to help people of all ages better understand engineering and maybe shift their perspectives a bit toward seeing engineering as a creative and interdisciplinary profession. We plan to make all of the course materials that are developed open and accessible so they may be used by students and teachers after the course ends."
