Description
"In my research, I develop new algorithms to more efficiently produce photorealistic computer generated images by simulating how light interacts with its environment. This work often builds upon techniques developed decades ago in areas such as nuclear physics, but, finding and gaining access to such articles is becoming increasingly difficult. I strongly believe that published research should be easily and freely accessible, to ensure reproducibility and foster follow-up work by fellow researchers. That is why I always make my publications (including all supplemental material and reference source code) publicly available on my website, and I choose open-access licensing options whenever possible."
