Description

"Mathematics research is something that can be done, and indeed is done, around the world. Mathematical talent is found everywhere and very little is needed in the way of resources-often, just a pencil and paper. But access to articles is essential; a researcher needs to build on the work of others, to know what is known, and to know what questions are important. Thus, in mathematics, open access is often the one critical hurdle that needs to be overcome. Anytime I can make my own work freely accessible, I am keen to do so."
