Abstract
This public workflow describes how Rauner Special Collections uploads digital files into Preservica using that tool’s “bulk incremental” ingest, also called an “Opex” ingest. A ruby script is run in the DOS Command-line environment to prepare the .opex sidecar files prior to their upload into the Amazon S3 Cloud, which will then be followed by their upload into Preservica. They will then be synced to the Digital Object module of ArchivesSpace. The ruby script is available in this workflow.
