Abstract
This class invites students to reflect on gossip and the role it plays in their lives. As they complete activities such as a game of telephone and round-table discussions, they will walk away with a further understanding of gossip’s history, benefits, consequences, and ethics. My hope as an educator is that students will take these lessons and apply them to their relationships and interactions, so that a more gossip-conscious community can be fostered.
