Abstract

Ascend Analytics, a Boulder based software and consulting firm, focuses on energy analytics. Alex Morgan, as the Business Development & Strategy intern, was responsible for creating the go-to-market strategy for Ascend’s new Market Intelligence Services. The service provides energy forecasts and power market fundamentals to help firms make prudent, risk-based decisions. The strategy includes product definition, customer relationship management, competitive comparisons, improved report generation, market analysis, and sales tactics and outreach. The project serves as the foundation for Ascend to improve current processes, enter a new market, and create a new stream of revenue.
