Abstract
Lookout Inc. provides endpoint security solutions for its customers. Demand for adoption of Industry standard taxonomy provided by MITRE exists for the enterprise business. The MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND matrix provides a taxonomy of cybersecurity techniques involving device access & countermeasures from threats respectively, and has become an industry standard. This mapping exercise involves the use of MITRE’s API consumption and NLP methods using python scripts to automate the process in real time. The project involves data extraction, cleaning & mapping guidelines as well as the user-interface proposal for the product console. The end-to-end solution encompasses the go-to-market strategy and other potential use cases.
