Abstract
The internship project with Spectrum involved improving the process of training given to the company’s sales team on one of the internal applications called AutoAnalyzer. The objectives are to reduce training time and increase the adoption of various application features. To achieve this, a third-party in-app help tool called Appcues is integrated with the AutoAnalyzer. The project's major tasks included developing product tours and helpful tips, creating surveys and collecting feedback, segmenting users and customizing tours and creating templates for new feature announcements. Appcues implementation resulted in a 30% increase in feature adoption and a 40% decrease in training time.
