Abstract
Cognex Corporation is a leading manufacturer of machine vision and barcode scanning devices. The company is building software solutions for these vision systems for device management, remote monitoring and alerting, and performing analytics on the data collected. The company intends to sell this software as a subscription service to its customers. It is a new avenue and a shift from the traditional business model. This project creates a go-to-market strategy for these B2B SaaS applications, that includes pricing strategy, prioritization of features to build, building an ideal customer profile, and collecting data to support subscription pricing.
