Abstract
The purpose of this project is to develop new initiatives, methods and tools for the Medical Management Workstream (MMWS) Portfolio team at Anthem, Inc. A new Medical Management initiative was recommended to support strategic innovation and processes were revamped within existing initiatives in alignment with the workstream’s vision. This process involved collaboration with IT leadership, business case owners, clinicians and strategy leadership to ensure a comprehensive analysis. The recommendations made will tackle strategic issues and support operational goals by contributing towards the operational gain of the firm.
