Abstract
TomTom is a mapping products company. For its products, the company produces map data. There has been inefficiencies and waste during the production. The aim of the project was to find the drivers behind the waste. For this purpose, data mining process was followed. The waste is categorized into groups by the reporting team. Two of these categories, which are “Work Lost on Cancelled Transactions” and “Time Lost on Solving Quality Assurance Violations”, were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the reporting team was informed about the statistically significant drivers and most accurate model for prediction.
