Abstract
Motivations
Traditionally hiring focuses more on candidates’ educational and professional background. The goal of this project is to understand how skills play a role throughout the job seeking funnel, across different job segments.
Key Findings
- We demonstrated the impact of skill matching across the hiring funnels.
- We have identified 3 seniority cohorts and 5 job functions with higher potential for skill-based hiring.
- We mapped out popular skills with best hiring impact.
- We gave tangible product recommendations based on our findings.
