Abstract
iDialogs is a healthcare startup that connects patients with chronic diseases with care teams and allows care teams to monitor their patients remotely. Its fast pace of development requires dedicated attention to quality assurance and maintenance of old and new features. My job this summer was to build an automated testing mechanism for the application. I crafted tests for the iDialogs web application using Postman Testing Tool and PHP Unit. Now, a Quality Assurance engineer can run tests that used to take three engineers three business days in under ten minutes by selecting the desired tests and hitting RUN.
