Abstract
Many hospital systems are facing significant workforce shortages with increasing demand for patient imaging and laboratory testing due to a growing aging population. To tackle labor shortages, Siemens Healthineers Workforce Solutions include staffing and consulting services engineered to increase procedural throughput, optimize, standardize, and decrease costs. Market research, service ideation, testing, and preliminarily commercialization was performed to deliver value to key stakeholders. Over the course of the internship, two global product FlexForce extensions were supported, and an improved revenue tracking system was developed for internal transparency. This aligns with Siemens Healthineers’ strategy to help improve equipment sales in which services can be leveraged to maximize the capabilities of medical equipment.
