Abstract
The focus of this ENGM 390 project was to complete an accessible, flexible and reliable analytical reporting on Design Services, the new e-design platform launched by Wayfair on June 25th, 2018. The reporting was built on Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, which fulfilled the business requirements with 46 metrics and 35 dimensions available. The reporting drew many insights on customer behaviors, designer statuses, project operations, and item orders. Besides its technical advances, the output also had the impact on the business as it identified an additional 30% margin for one project, and the additional retail revenue worth ~$300 per customer.
